When the wedding the night before goes into the morning hours, and the early morning service the next day is scheduled for our breakfast guests – this is when a true team spirit shows itself.

Michael Olah, our manager, leads the team of the restaurant Hellbrunn Palace with a lot of warmth and understanding. Not only our guests should feel comfortable with us, but the well-being of our team is also very important to us! So we are grateful that all our employees have been with us for more than 5 years, some even more than 10 years!

Michael Olah, your host

Despite his young years, Michael is already a Gassner institution. In 2012, after completing his stone-mason apprenticeship, Michael started a side job at Stieglkeller and quickly discovered his love for the restaurant trade. With a great deal of dedication and ambition, he went on to train as a restaurant professional, led the service team as restaurant manager shortly afterwards, and became papa to a delightful daughter. Since 2018 Michael has been our manager at Hellbrunn and is also responsible for all external catering events for Gassner - a career path not only he can be proud, but we are too!

Simone Preisenschuh, Eventplanner

Simone is your first contact person for any reservations at our restaurant. Her passion is event planning. As a trained wedding planner, she is a specialist for all questions relating to your wedding and supports you from planning to the actual wedding day. Simone has been part of our team since 2022 and has been an integral part since then. Thank you Simone for your loyalty and commitment!

Markus Derkits, Banquet- and Catering Manager

Markus is part of our team for almost a year and is responsible for the operational event management. His Gassner career started during an internship at the "Schlosswirt in Anif", where he returned after graduating from school. After two years as deputy operations manager in our sister company "Stiegl-Klosterhof" in Linz, he is now caring for your wedding, company event and catering. Thank you Markus for your loyalty and commitment!

Patrick Schirmbrand, chef

Patrick started working with us in 2016 when he decided to start an apprenticeship as a chef with us in Hellbrunn. After several positions in our Co-Restaurants, Patrick returned to Hellbrunn Palace in 2023 and is now leading as a chef the entire kitchen team with bravura, skill and warmth. Patrick, we hope you are joining us for many more years!
